About Us…
We are Dar & Deb Cormier, creators and designers of Threadpainting Embroidery, Cross Stitch & Fibre Art kits and patterns. We create art stitched with various threads, yarns and techniques.
Each design has been a wonderful ‘excuse’ for us to reminisce & explore our diverse interests in history, nature, art, antiques, and much more!
We are inspired by history, art and music and as sisters, we grew up surrounded by collectors, crafters and stitchers from both sides of our family. As children, we spent warm, quality time in our Great Grandmother’s Victorian home in Downtown Toronto amongst the antiques and fabulous trinkets from times gone by …they will always be a wealth of inspiration for us when designing our works.

What We Do
Our designs are compatible with Threadpainting and Hand Embroidery.
When combining different fibres and textures, we ensure all of our needlework fabrics work together with the embroidery floss, perle cotton, fine crewel wool and needle felting fibres we offer.
We source our premium needlework fabrics and supplies from Canada, Europe and Japan.
Create your own unique Threadpainting Embroidery using our watercolour or coloured pencil artwork as a guide and our Cosmo embroidery floss colour recommendations.
We print our patterns onto Zweigart and Cosmo brand needlework fabric, using professional fabric printing equipment and Oeko-tex standard ink.
